Kate was introduced to Pilates while living in the Netherlands. Since the studio where she took ballet offered Pilates, she joined classes as cross-training. After returning stateside she began taking classes at Pushes and Pulls, and began her training soon after.

A student of classical ballet, Kate has found Pilates has strengthened previously weak muscle groups, reducing injury and improving performance. Her years of dancing have given her an eye for movement—she uses this to encourage clients as they increase their body awareness and improve movement patterns.

A current student at Corban University, Kate studies English, Health Science, and Philosophy. Kate is looking forward to continuing her STOTT training as school allows.
